Esquire Got it Wrong

Esquire Got it Wrong


Esquire's article touting Minority Report as being "the movie that accurately predicted the future", of course, "got it wrong". As with most Spielberg movies, it "could" be classified as a science fiction movie to incorporate the most gimmicks from other films into one production...

... perhaps...

As great a movie as it was, everything in the film had been seen in movies since the original James Bond movies, as well as more recent films such as Blade Runner, Demolition Man, The Fifth Element, Total Recall, and even as far back as Metropolis in the 1920's, and Things to Come. With the exception of the "billiard ball / lotto ball" device...

....perhaps.
