A"
Touch Sensitive Organ", was the name of
Hugh Le Caine's electronic synthesizer. The
NRC National Research Council of Canada refused that description, but accepted the name "
Sackbut" instead.
Le Caine was also inventor of the
polyphonic synthesizer and and another device called,
Sonde, among many others. Mostly in the 1960's and 1970's.
